Pharmaceutical SyrupVarious types of pharmaceutical syrups offered by us are defined as the saturated or concentrated, viscous aqueous solution of sucrose/sugar substitute in purified water. These syrups can or cannot contain any medicinal or flavoring ingredient. The drug(s) and purified water are the two major components of these syrups. Other ingredients can be sucrose or some other sugar substitutes and antimicrobial preservatives. Sorbitol, Saccharine, & Aspartame are the sugar free alternative to add sweetness to all the pharmaceutical syrups. The pharmaceutical syrups can also have flavorings, coloring agents, solubilizer, thickeners, or stabilizers as the ingredients in their composition.
